In Italy, the percentage of the annual gender salary gap slightly decreased in the period from 2015 to 2018. According to data provided by JobPricing, in 2017 women working in the top management earned on average 9.6 percent less than males. A year later, the salary gap had decreased to 8.2 percent. Similarly, the gender gap of women blue collars passed from 10.8 percent in 2017 to 10.6 percent in 2018. Nevertheless, the gap experienced an increase in 2019 and 2020.
