The cost of sending remittances from Russia was measured at 3.13 percent of the amount sent on average in the fourth quarter of 2021. The remittance cost has been increasing since the first quarter of 2021. To compare, in the United States, the cost reached approximately five percent of the total amount sent in 2020.
