Gross value of maize produced in South Africa 2000-2019

As of 2018/2019, the gross value of maize produced in South Africa was approximately 28 billion South African Rands (equivalent to nearly 1.94 billion U.S. Dollars), an increase of roughly 15 percent from 2017/2018. Furthermore, 2000 to 2019 shows an overall increase of around 305.8 percent, despite decreases in 2005/2006, 2009/2010, 2014/2015 and 2017/2018.
