Prevalence of cardiovascular risks and diabetes monitoring in Belgium 2013-2018
From 2013 to 2018, the prevention of cardiovascular risks has improved in Belgium. Indeed, the share of Belgians, aged 15 years and older, who have had their blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar levels measured in the last 3 to 5 years increased during this period. In 2018, over 90 percent of Belgians, aged 15 years and older, had their blood pressure measured in the last 5 years, while over 70 percent of them had their cholesterol and blood sugar levels monitored in the last 3 years.
