Correlation of diabetes and cholesterol among Indians 2019
As per the results of a large scale survey conducted across India in 2019, about 51 percent of the respondents who suffered from diabetes also reported to have cholesterol issues. Whereas, only eight percent of the respondents who had cholesterol problems did not have diabetes. This indicated a high rate of co-morbidity between the two diseases.
