Accident insurance premiums issued in the Spanish market 2008-2021
The annual volume of accident insurance premiums issued in Spain increased overall from 2008 to 2021. Issued premium volume declined from the beginning of the time period under observation to a low of 853 million euros in 2012. Thereafter, the volume of accident insurance premiums increased each year until 2018, when a peak of over 1.15 billion euros was reached. As of 2021, the volume of premiums issued in the Spanish accident insurance sector amounted to a value of approximately 1.1 billion euros.
