Global investment portfolio of insurance groups Spain 2012-2023
The annual investment portfolio of Spanish insurance companies increased between 2012 and 2023. The most significant increase in the global volume of the investment portfolio during the time period under observation occurred between 2015 and 2016, when there was a reported growth of close to 60 billion euros. In 2023, the annual investment portfolio of Spanish insurers reached nearly 305 billion euros, that was a nine percent increase compared to the previous year.
