Electricity load change of independent system operators in the U.S. 2020

Due to the coronavirus pandemic and the resulting lockdown, electricity load declined across all seven independent system operators in the United States between March and June 2020. The sharpest decline was noted in May 2020, when electricity load was 7.5 percent lower than during the same month the previous year.
