Gross value of watermelons in South Africa 2000-2018
As of 2017/2018, the preliminary gross value of watermelons is South Africa amounted to 499.31 million South African rands (this is equivalent to about 28.57 million U.S. dollars), which is a slight increase of 0.47 percent from 2016/2017. It is also worth noting that between 2000 and 2013 the gross value was growing at a slower rate than between 2013 and 2017.
