Dutch consumers did not seem overly worried about cyber crime or online safety, according to survey information from 2020. Indeed, almost 90 percent of all respondents indicated they were not worried at all or just a little bit. The source mentions this was a significant increase from 2019, when during a previous survey around 61 percent stated they felt safe on the internet. This, so the source states, was seen as rather remarkable as safety threats, such as cyber attacks, had increased in recent years.
