In a survey conducted between June 24 and 30, 2020, around 17 percent of adults aged 45 to 64 years in the U.S. reported having COVID-19 related trauma and stressor related disorder (TSRD). This statistic illustrates the percentage of U.S. adults who were considered symptomatic for COVID-19 related TSRD.

Symptoms of a TSRD precipitated by the COVID-19 pandemic were assessed via the six-item Impact of Event Scale (IES-6) to screen for overlapping symptoms of PTSD, ASD, and ADs.
