Monthly average prices for green pepper in Egypt 2019-2020
In July 2020, the monthly average price for green bell peppers in Egypt amounted to 5.39 Egyptian pounds (0.34 U.S. dollars) per kilogram, a dip of approximately 12.6 percent from June 2020. During the period under review, price fluctuations ranged between five Egyptian pounds (0.32 U.S. dollars) per kilogram as the trough in August 2019, while the peak was at 12.72 Egyptian pounds (0.81 U.S. dollars) per kilogram in March 2019. As bell pepper grows in warmer weather conditions, prices generally drop during the summer months.
