Mexico: cross-border investment in solar energy 2014-2019
Foreign investments in solar energy in Mexico have soared in recent years. In 2019, investments in the Latin American country amounted to nearly 2.7 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of almost twenty-fold in comparison to 2015. That same year, Mexico was the leading recipient country for solar investments in the region.
