Mexico: number of renewable energy jobs 2019, by sector

As of 2019, the Mexican renewable energy industry employed nearly 98 thousand workers. The segment with the largest workforce was wind power, with around 23.8 thousand jobs. Solar photovoltaic came in close second, with 23.3 thousand people employed either directly or indirectly. Mexico ranked among the Latin American countries with the largest number of workers in the renewables sector that year.
