Share of renewables in primary energy supply in Mexico 2010-2020
In Mexico, the participation of renewable sources in the primary energy supply has remained below 15 percent throughout the past decade. Nevertheless, this figure has experienced an upward trend in recent years. In 2020, renewables accounted for 13.3 percent of the North American country's primary energy supply, up from 8.4 percent reported in 2013.
