Reasons for the use of food delivery applications in France 2020

During lockdown due to coronavirus (COVID-19) the number of French people having ordered at least one meal on home delivery applications has doubled. According to the source, 12 percent was the share of French people who used these applications during the COVID-19 lockdown period. Thus, more than a third used it mainly to "treat oneself", against about 14 percent who wanted to support local restaurant owners.
