GDP distribution across sectors of major cities in China 2019
In 2019, the highest share of the service sector in the gross domestic product (GDP) of major cities in China had been reached in Beijing, amounting to around 83.5 percent. Many cities in the economically well developed Yangtze River and Pearl River Deltas are still more dependent on the industrial sector, for example Shenzhen, which reached the highest per capita GDP of all major cities in China that year.
