Distribution of crude oil production in Angola, by operator 2020
International oil companies dominated the crude oil production in Angola as of 2020. Total E&P Angola leaded the ranking, with a share of nearly 46 percent of the output. Chevron and Esso followed with 19 percent and 14 percent of the total production, respectively. Only 2.5 percent of the crude oil were produced by the national operators Sonangol and Somoil.
