Oil refining capacity in Angola 2013-2020
The oil refining capacity in Angola remained stable from 2013 to 2020, at 65 thousand barrels per day. The amount referred to the Luanda Refinery, considered the only refining facility in the country. However, the use rate of the refining capacity variated in the period, reaching 74 percent in 2020. Apart from Luanda Refinery, the Malongo-Cabinda field refines Jet-A1, diesel, and LPG gas, with a capacity of 15,000 barrels per day.
