According to a survey on mobile dating apps conducted by Rakuten Insight in September 2020 in the Philippines, approximately 43 percent of the 16 to 24-year-old respondents stated that they did not use mobile dating apps because they found the dating apps unromantic and preferred to meet someone organically. Comparatively, around 37 percent of the respondents between 55 years and older stated that they did not use mobile dating apps because they thought the dating apps were not suited to their cultures.
