Renewable energy consumption in Mexico 2009-2021
The consumption of renewable energy in Mexico has more than quadrupled in one decade, amounting to roughly 390 petajoules in 2021. In comparison to the previous year alone, this represents an 11 percent increase. Mexico's renewable energy generation capacity has followed a similar upward trend throughout the past decade.
