Daily time spent on unpaid household work India 2019, by gender and state
According to time use in India survey conducted in 2019, women from the north Indian state of Bihar spent the most amount of time of about 366 minutes per day on unpaid household work. Men from the same state spent about 40 minutes per day on household work. In general, women spent more time on unpaid household work than men in the country.
