The non-citrus fruit production volume in Spain had its highest value in 2019 when almost five million tons of these fruits were produced. This represents more than two hundred more in comparison to the previous year and a slight increase if this figure is compared to 2017, when the production reached approximately 4.9 million metric tons. The non-citrus production is still below the citrus production volume in Spain, which reached 6.2 million metric tons in 2019. In 2021 production fell to 4.6 million metric tons, similar figures to those of 2018.
