Breakdown of the production of primary renewable energy France 2020
Wood energy accounted for the largest share of primary renewable energy produced at over 30 percent, when included among the renewable energy sources. Hydropower was the second main source of renewable energy at some 20 percent of the total. The primary energy production from renewables resources in France reached over 330 terawatt hours in 2020.
