Major companies in renewable electricity distribution in France 2021, by capacity
In 2021, the renewable electricity capacity in the distribution grids of mainland France amounted to almost 60,000 megawatts. Enedis was the leading distribution grid operator, with over 30 gigawatts of energy capacity. RTE followed closely with almost 27 gigawatts of electricity capacity. EDF-SEI was the renewable energy distributor in Corsica (Corse in French), where renewable electricity coverage was 34 percent of the total electrical energy consumption in 2021.
