Japan: monthly user number of long-term care services by type

In the fiscal year 2020, the average monthly number of users of in-home care or support services amounted to around 3.9 million in Japan. At the same time, about 960 thousand people were receiving care services at facilities.

Figures can overlap across different types of services as some care receivers use multiple services.
