Redelivery rate of parcels shipped door-to-door in Japan 2017-2022
As of October 2022, around 11.8 percent of parcels shipped by major door-to-door delivery services in Japan had to be redelivered, increasing from 11.7 percent in April 2022. Year-on-year, the redelivery rate decreased by 0.1 percent. The delivery industry struggles with an aging workforce and labor shortages.
