Redelivery rate of parcels shipped door-to-door in Japan 2018-2023
As of October 2023, around 11.1 percent of parcels shipped by major door-to-door delivery services in Japan had to be redelivered, decreasing from 11.4 percent in April 2023. Year-on-year, the redelivery rate decreased by 0.7 percent. The delivery industry struggles with an aging workforce and labor shortages.
