Revenue of restaurants by type in Mexico

In 2018, restaurants that served a type of affordable lunch menus known as comida corrida, along with à la carte-restaurants in Mexico generated a revenue of nearly 150 billion Mexican pesos. Meanwhile, the revenue of tacos and tortas establishments — two typical Mexican dishes — amounted to 62 billion Mexican pesos that same year.
