In a survey conducted among parents in early 2021 in the United States, 86 percent of respondents supported the proposal of in-person tutoring in targeted problem areas in order to help students recover from the impact of COVID-19. A further 81 percent of parents supported the proposal of structured social, emotional, and mental health support for their students.
