Share of tourism spending GCC 2019, by country
The share of inbound tourist spending in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries was the highest for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at almost half the amount of total spending in 2019. The total number of tourists to the GCC region in that year was almost 44 million.
