Number of aquaculture establishments in Indonesia 2011-2020, by type
In 2020, there were 186 brackish water aquaculture establishments in Indonesia. In comparison to brackish water aquaculture, the number of other aquaculture establishments had decreased since the previous year. In Indonesia, the majority of brackish water aquaculture produces tropical shrimp and finfish, such as milkfish.
