Number of refugees and asylum-seekers in Libya 2021, by age and gender
As of June 2021, most refugees and asylum-seekers in Libya were aged 18-59 years. These were approximately 26.5 thousand and around 69 percent of them were males. On the other hand, people aged 60 years and older and children under 17 years were significantly less numerous. Each age group witnessed a prevalence of males over females.
