Number of international migrants in Africa 2000-2020

As of July 2020, there were over 25 million international migrants in Africa. The number increased significantly compared to the previous years. In 2000, international migrants on the continent amounted to approximately 15 million. Moreover, from a regional perspective, Eastern Africa hosted the highest number of migrants in 2020.
