In 2019, an estimate of 23.4 million Colombian adults had a net worth of less than 10 thousand U.S. dollars. In contrast, the total net assets of approximately 27 thousand people above 18 years old in the South American country surpassed one million dollars. Colombia is among the most unequal countries in Latin America.
