Median sales price of residential real estate in New York City 2020-2021, by borough

As compared to the previous year, the median price for home sales in Manhattan, New York had decreased in February 2021. In that month, the home price reached the median of 1.08 million U.S. dollars, down from 1.12 million U.S. dollars in February of 2020. In other New York boroughs, such as Brooklyn, median home prices had increased over this period of time.

New York was hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, resulting in a lower home sale.
