Change in the restaurant industry revenue France 2020, by region
The restaurant industry was one of the industries the most impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis in France in 2020. Restaurants had to close their doors to the public most of the year, which directly impacted the catering revenue. In France, some regions suffered more losses than others. While Provence-Alpes-Côtes d'Azur and Corsica recorded the worst restaurant revenue change (-86 percent), Normandy suffered the least, with a restaurant revenue change of -47 percent in 2020.
