The year 2020 was an unusual year for many industries. In particular, the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus called into question the performances of the restaurant industry in France. Many establishments had to close for most of the year so that the losses on the turnover of the catering industry are significant. Between January and August 2020, the sector lost 20 billion euros of turnover compared to the same period in 2019.
