Main French people's companions in restaurants 2019
Going to a restaurant is a practice particularly appreciated by the French as it is considered a moment of relaxation and pleasure. For 56 percent of French people, dining out in a private setting was done "In family, with the children", according to a study conducted in 2019. The same survey also revealed that 40 percent of French people went to restaurants as a couple, and 36 percent went with friends.
