Opinions of Ghanaians on the amount taxation in Ghana 2019
In 2019, 35 percent of 2,400 surveyed Ghanaians thought that the level of taxation in the country was about the right amount. Moreover, while some 21 percent thought that the value of taxes was far too much, 19 percent felt that it was only somewhat too much. Furthermore, according to the same survey, more than 70 percent of Ghanaians were willing to pay more taxes for national development.
