New Yorkers' approval of Andrew Cuomo's handling of the COVID-19 crisis by party 2020
In an opinion poll conducted in late March 2020, 95 percent of New Yorkers surveyed who identified as Democrats approved of the job that Democratic state governor Andrew Cuomo was doing to address the COVID-19 pandemic. 70 percent of Republicans surveyed also approved of the state governor’s response - in contrast to the partisan divide over President Trump's efforts.
