New Yorkers' approval of Bill de Blasio's handling of COVID-19 by party 2020
In an opinion poll conducted late March 2020, 57 percent of New Yorkers surveyed who identified as politically independent disapproved of the job that Bill de Blasio, the Democratic mayor of New York City, was doing to address the COVID-19 pandemic. This was higher than the 54 percent of Republicans who disapproved of the mayor's efforts.
