According to a survey conducted by Ipsos on global views on climate change and COVID-19 in 2020, 81 percent of Indian respondents thought it was likely that in the long term climate change is as serious as a crisis as COVID-19 pandemic. On the other hand, 13 percent of the respondents were skeptical about climate change being a serious issue.
