Import value of tobacco into South Africa 2015-2020
In 2020, the import of tobacco into South Africa amounted to an approximate value of 115 million U.S. dollars. This was a decrease in value in comparison to the preceding year, when roughly 192 million U.S. dollars of the products were imported. Furthermore, Switzerland was one of the main trade partners of South Africa concerning tobacco imports with a share of just over 48 percent.
