Latin America: consumers' expectations from 5G-network technology 2021
During a 2021 survey conducted in major Latin American countries, approximately 85 percent of respondents said that they expected 5G networks to help bridge the digital divide by providing connectivity to a larger share of the population. More than 80 percent of Latin American study participants also expressed hope that this technology improves the quality of life of people. The positive impact on the economy was also mentioned in the survey.
