GPI for secondary school enrollment APAC 2018-2020, by country
In 2019, the Gender Parity Index (GPI) for secondary education enrollment in Bangladesh was 1.17.This indicator is calculated by dividing the female gross enrollment ratio in secondary education by the male gross enrollment ratio in secondary education. A GPI of less than 1 suggests that female students are more disadvantaged than male students in learning opportunities, while a GPI of greater than 1 suggests the other way around.
