Employment in the mining industry in Tanzania 2010-2019
The mining and quarrying industry employed over 310 thousand people in Tanzania as of 2019, according to the source's estimates. Since 2010, the number of working-age Tanzanians that during a specified period worked within the mining industry has been increasing. That year, around 170.2 thousand individuals had paid employment or were self-employed in mining.
