Minerals production in Tanzania Q2 2020-2021, by type

The production of gold in Tanzania increased in the second quarter of 2021, compared to the same period in the previous year. Around15.4 thousand kilograms were produced, against 14.5 thousand kilograms in the corresponding period of 2020. Gypsum, coal, and salt production also expanded. For instance, gypsum output grew from some 96 thousand metric tons to 124 thousand metric tons.
