Japan: common areas of BIM application by building type 2021

According to a survey conducted between December 2020 and January 2021 among construction companies in Japan, office buildings were the leading type of building for which building information modeling (BIM) was applied. While 247 companies reported using BIM for office buildings, 176 companies used BIM for factory buildings.
