From 2019 to 2022, women's footwear other than athletic shoes was the leading product category in the Canadian footwear market in terms of overall market share, with 32.6 percent in 2022. Together with athletic shoes, the total market share of women's shoes was 43.4 percent in 2022. The total share of men's shoes was very similar.
