New Zealand: people who reported drinking more in and after lockdowns

In a New Zealand survey conducted post lockdown in June 2020, 66 percent of respondents drank more because it helped them relax. By comparison, during level 4 lockdowns in April of that year, 64 percent of respondents drank more to relax.

The survey for Post-lockdown (level 1) was carried out between 10 - 19 June 2020, and the survey for during lockdown (level 4) was carried out between 7 - 13 April 2020.

Question asked in level 1 survey was : "Please select all the reasons why you have been drinking more in the last two weeks than you usually did before lockdown"

Question asked in level 4 survey was : "Please select all the reasons why you have been drinking more since the Level 4 lockdown"
